Home Insulation & Air

Lock in comfort.
Cut the heat at the source.

Most Texas homes lose their cool through the attic. We insulate, seal and shield your home from the top down — so it stays comfortable and efficient year-round.

What we handle

Insulation, air sealing and air quality — one team, one plan for your whole home.

Blown-In Attic Insulation

A fast, even layer of insulation that brings your attic up to recommended R-value and keeps conditioned air where it belongs.

Spray Foam Insulation

Expanding foam that seals and insulates in one step — ideal for hard-to-reach cavities, rim joists and air leaks.

Radiant Barrier

A reflective barrier that blocks radiant heat from soaking into your attic, taking real load off your AC in summer.

Attic Air Sealing

We find and seal the gaps, penetrations and chases that quietly leak your heating and cooling dollars.

Attic Mold Remediation

Careful treatment and remediation of attic mold, plus the moisture sources that let it come back.

Air Duct Cleaning & Sealing

Cleaner air and fewer leaks: we clean your ductwork and seal joints so every room gets the air you're paying for.

Air Quality & Efficiency

Ventilation, filtration and efficiency upgrades that make your home feel fresher and cost less to run.

Weatherization for Texas Heat

A whole-home approach to keeping extreme heat outside — insulation, sealing and ventilation working together.

Know before you spend

How to tell your home needs help.

Attics don't announce themselves. Most homeowners notice the symptoms in the house instead — the rooms, the smells, the dust, the bill. If two or more of these sound familiar, there's almost always something worth fixing up there.

Rooms the AC can't catch

The upstairs never feels right, one side of the house runs warm, and the system can run for hours without satisfying the thermostat.

Insulation below the joists

The fill should sit above the wood framing. If you can see the tops of the joists from the hatch, the level has settled too far down.

Pinpoints of light in the attic

Daylight around ducts, wires, pipes or recessed lights means outside air has a direct path into your home.

Dust or a stuffy smell on startup

Return ducts that leak in the attic pull attic air — and everything in it — into your rooms every time the system kicks on.

The system barely ever stops

If the AC is still running at 3 a.m. when the outside air has finally cooled, it's fighting heat it shouldn't be picking up.

A summer bill that stands out

One season where the bill jumps and stays up is usually cooling that runs long because heat keeps coming in from above.

Why the electric bill comes down

We won't promise a percentage before we've been in your attic — anyone who does hasn't measured your house. What's the same in every Texas home is the path the heat takes:

  1. 1

Heat comes in from the top

In July an attic runs far hotter than the air outside it, and that heat pushes down through the ceiling into the rooms below.

  2. 2

    Insulation slows the push

A deep, even layer resists that flow, so a lot less heat ever reaches the living space.

  3. 3

    Radiant barrier blocks the source

A reflective layer turns radiant heat back before the insulation ever has to absorb it.

  4. 4

    Sealing closes the shortcuts

Gaps around chases, ducts and lights let hot air walk straight in. Sealing them takes the load off the system.

  5. 5

    The AC runs less

Less heat inside means the system reaches your setpoint and holds it — shorter, less frequent cycles. That's where the kilowatt-hours come from.

Sealed ducts count double. Cooled air that escapes through a joint in the attic is paid for twice — once to cool it, and again when the system notices it's gone.

What it does for the health of your home

Insulation and sealing aren't only about comfort. They control what moves through your house — air, moisture and dust — and that decides how the rest of it ages.

  • A drier attic

Humid air that finds a cool surface leaves moisture behind, and moisture is what grows attic mold and rots decking and framing. Sealing and ventilation keep those surfaces drier.

  • Air you can trust

Leaky return ducts draw in dust, insulation fibers and debris and deliver it to the bedrooms. Sealed, cleaned ducts keep that in the attic where it belongs.

  • Equipment that lasts

An overworked system short-cycles, freezes up and wears out early. A home that holds temperature lets the equipment run the way it was built to.

  • Fewer ways in

The same gaps that leak your conditioned air are entry points for insects and rodents. Air sealing closes most of them at the same time.

Most attic moisture starts inside. A bathroom fan venting into the attic, a leaky duct or gaps in the ceiling is how humidity gets up there — which is why we treat sealing and ventilation as one job, not two.

Not sure which of these you're seeing?

That's exactly what the free inspection is for. We measure the depth, check the sealing and the ducts, and show you what we found — before you decide anything.
